We offer reminders via voice call, text, and\/or email to avoid missed appointments. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you can do so by phone at\u00a0(904) 580-4535<\/a>.<\/p>

Cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduled sessions without 24 hours\u2019 notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of $190 (individuals), $240 (couples), and $70 (groups). Before your first appointment, you will receive initial documentation to complete via a secure web portal. If you cannot complete this documentation electronically, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to do so in the office. We will ask you a broad range of questions to understand your background and mental health history, identify your goals for counseling, explain your rights as a client, and answer any questions that you might have about the counseling process. Our fees are based on specialized expertise and standard rates for clinicians. Our rates are $190 per 50-minute session for individual sessions,\u00a0 $240 per 75-minute for couples session, and $70 per 90-minute group sessions.<\/p>

We provide a sliding scale or reduced-rate services at present. The fee is due at the time of the session, unless we are billing your insurance company.<\/strong><\/p>

For Assessments, our rates start at $1,000 and are not covered by insurance. Half of the payment is due upon initial assessment, and the remainder is due at the time the report is given. While our practice is not responsible for out-of-network reimbursements, here are some questions and steps to consider:<\/p>

  • Tell your insurance provider that you would like to submit a superbill for psychiatric services.<\/li>
  • Ask how much they will cover for an out-of-network psychiatric evaluation and ongoing psychiatric services.<\/li>
  • Ask where you can send the superbill (i.e., fax number), and how you can follow up to ensure they receive it.<\/li>
  • The insurance company should then send you the reimbursement money. Ask what the timeline is for receiving your reimbursement, confirm they have your address (or how you will get it), and what number you can call or how you can track your payment.<\/li><\/ul>

    You can also look up information on the internet for submitting superbills to insurance for reimbursement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

    It depends on you and your progress. Typically, folks are in therapy between 7 and 24 sessions. We\u2019ll never rush your progress, though.<\/p>

    Depending on the concerns being addressed, sometimes fewer sessions are needed, and sometimes more sessions are recommended.       In most therapy sessions, you don\u2019t have to lie down unless you want to. It\u2019s all about what makes you comfortable!<\/p>

      We can chat while sitting in chairs, curled up on a couch, or even having a walk if that feels better.<\/p>
